— Prelim Card —
1. Callum Haughian vs. Marko Sarasjar VI
- Catchweight TBA -
Prediction: Callum Haughian by Round 2 Submission
The records for these two are a little deceiving. Callum Haughian went 7-4 as an amateur before going pro last year. He fought under the Cage Warriors banner for his last amateur bout. One of the glaring issues with Haughian is that he’s fighting his first pro fight after a year and a half layoff.
Marko Sarasjar put together an 8-5 amateur record before making his pro debut two years ago. Marko is coming off a split decision loss at Cage Warriors 167 earlier this year. His opponent for that fight was a 1-2 journeyman with a limited skill set. The fact that Sarasjar didn’t have more success in that fight has us concerned about how he will fair against Haughian.
Betting Strategy: The fight does NOT go to decision as a parlay piece, Haughian by submission as an individual wager and Haughian on the moneyline as as parlay piece.

6. Tariq Pell vs. Danny Blundell
- Welterweight 170 lbs -
Prediction: Tariq Pell by Decision
Tariq Pell is simply the better of the two fighters. He has experience against superior competition, he’s more active and he’ll enjoy a distinct speed advantage. No matter what Blundell attempts to do, Pell will get the better of him.
Betting Strategy: Pell on the moneyline as a parlay piece.
7. Teddy Stringer vs. Shaun Fraser
- Lightweight 155 lbs -
Prediction: Shaun Fraser by Decision
Though he is 4-0 as a pro, Teddy Stringer’s inconsistency as an amateur is a little worrisome. Meanwhile, all Shaun Fraser does is continue to win fights. He went 5-0 as an amateur and he’s now 2-0 as a pro. Does it make sense to fade a guy who is undefeated? On the other hand, Stringer’s amateur experience was a mixed bag.
Don’t be surprised if this goes to the judges for a greasy decision.
Betting Strategy: The fight goes over 1.5 rounds as a parlay piece and Fraser on the moneyline as an individual wager.
8. Cameron Stewart vs. Yusuf Nazokatov
- Lightweight 155 lbs -
Prediction: Cameron Stewart by Round 2 TKO/KO
Yusuf Nazokatov is returning from a little over a year layoff and has only twice in the last four years. It’s pretty obvious why Cage Warriors is booking him for this fight. The promotion is hoping to offer Cameron Stewart a comfortable win for his MMA pro debut. He won his last four amateur bouts. Stewart has significantly more combat sports experience than Nazokatov and he’s way more active. For those two reasons, we’re going with Stewart.
Betting Strategy: Stewart on the moneyline as a parlay piece.

9. Jimmy Quinn vs. Giovanni Fernandez
- Bantamweight 135 lbs -
Prediction: Jimmy Quinn by Round 1 Submission
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what’s going on with this match. Giovanni Fernandez is going to get finished, period. It’s just a matter of what method Quinn uses to finish him in the first round. Fernandez is a 2-2 fighter with both of his wins over regional fighters with losing records. To be honest, Fernandez has no business in a fight with Jimmy Quinn. Quinn is going to end him in the first round.
Betting Strategy: The fight goes under 1.5 rounds as a parlay piece, Quinn inside the distance as a parlay piece and Quinn on the moneyline as a parlay piece.
10. Weslley Maia vs. Alexander Loof
- Bantamweight 135 lbs -
Prediction: Alexander Loof by Split Decision
They are both decisionators that frequently end up in sketchy decisions. Alexander Loof has been to three split decisions in his last six fights. Weslley Maia has been to decision in five of his last six. Whatever happens, it’s going the distance. Do you really want to be holding a ticket for either fighter when the judges decide their fate? Instead of betting either side, just hammer the overs and fight going to decision as potential parlay pieces.
Betting Strategy: The fight goes to decision as a parlay piece, the fight ends in split/majority decision as an individual wager and Loof by decision as an individual wager.
11. Tye Palmer vs. Paddy McCorry
- Middleweight 185 lbs -
Prediction: Paddy McCorry by Round 1 Submission
Paddy McCorry is a young Irishmen that was a contestant on the most recent season of TUF. He went 1-1 on the show after losing to Robert Valentin in his second match. Both of his TUF fights ended by submission. Prior to being on the show, McCorry cut his teeth in Cage Warriors. The promotion would be wise to slowly build him up. He isn’t ready for UFC level competition but he has plenty of time to grow. Giving McCorry winnable bouts like this makes perfect sense. It’ll pad his record and build his confidence.
Tye Palmer is in search of his third win in a row after picking up back to back dubs for Fusion FC. This fight will mark Palmer’s Cage Warriors debut (pro). When you realize that he’s making a promotional debut with a 6-7 record against an up-and-coming prospect with UFC experience, it’s a dead giveaway that Palmer is a patsy. Notably, Palmer fought once as an amateur under the Cage Warriors banner.
By far, McCorry is the largest betting favorite on the card.
Betting Strategy: McCorry by round one submission as an individual wager and the fight ends by submission as a parlay piece. The wide odds preclude us from entertaining McCorry on the moneyline.
12. Nik Bagley vs. Jordy Bakkes
- Featherweight 145 lbs -
Prediction: Nik Bagley by Round 1 Submission
Nik Bagley is an English fighter known for his Jiu Jitsu skills. All five of his professional wins were by submission. Bagley is currently 4-1 in Cage Warriors. His lone defeat was by decision two years ago. He’s made plenty of improvements since that lost and is looking better than ever. It appears the matchmakers are high on Bagley. He’s only twenty seven which gives him time to work himself up to a title shot.
Jordy Bakkes is making the walk for the third time for the promotion. He’s 1-0-1 in Cage Warriors. He submitted Ryan Shelley last year and he went to a draw against Antonio Sheldon in 2022. The Shelley win holds some value because it was Shelley’s first loss and Bakkes was the underdog in that fight. The draw with Sheldon wasn’t the best look at the time. In Bakkes defense, that was two years ago and he’s grown as a fighter.
This feels like a showcase fight for Bagley. But, it may end up much closer than the moneyline suggests. Keep in mind, they are both submission threats. Though neither of them have been finished, there’s a first time for everything.
Betting Strategy: The fight ends by submission as a parlay piece and Bagley on the moneyline as a parlay piece.
13. Andy Clamp vs. James Webb
- Light Heavyweight 205 lbs -
Prediction: Andy "The Vice" Clamp by Round 2 TKO/KO
Andy Clamp is the current light heavyweight champion attempting to defend his belt. He sports an exceptionally high finish rate and his last eight fights have not gone the distance. He’ll have five rounds to get the job done. James Webb has been knocked out four times so he doesn’t have the strongest chin. The key for Webb is to limit the striking exchanges and to employ grappling. Six of Webb’s ten wins are by submission and Clamp has been sub'ed before.
95% of the votes on Tapology.com favor the Clamp side. We’re in agreement with the public. This is Clamp’s fight to lose.
Betting Strategy: The fight goes under 4.5 rounds as a parlay piece, Clamp by wins by TKO/KO as a parlay piece and Webb wins by submission.
